Nalonglith holds a master degree in international trade law from the the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. He is Director General of the Department of Law Review and Assessment of the Lao Ministry of Justice and currently heads the technical committee of the Lao Civil Code drafting group.

Kinnalone is a researcher and Chief of the Macroeconomic Policy Research Division at the Center for Macroeconomic Policy and Economic Restructuring (CMER), National Institute for Economic Research (NIER), in Vientiane, Laos. She holds a PhD in International Relations from the Graduate School of International Relations (GSIR) at Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto Japan. Kinnalone has a variety of research experience such as: ‘Domestic savings mobilization: A tool for closing the Investment-Savings gap in Lao PDR’, ‘Impacts of foreign capital inflows on domestic savings in 6 ASEAN countries: A panel data analysis’ among others.
